Our next wedding was Ashlie and Lee’s day at the beginning of August and we were back at the wonderful Easton Grange where we were well looked after by both Alice and Steph and had another incredible day.
The barns were decorated beautifully by Georgina at The Treasure Box in pale pinks, white and greens. David started with the boys getting ready in the Farmhouse whilst I started with Ashlie and the girls in the bridal room. A quick shout out to Chelsea who did all the fantastic wedding hair and even managed to tame the locks of a reluctant toddler flowergirl. Ted the toastmaster also joined us for most of the day and carried out some duties we don’t usually see at weddings like a presentation of the first bottle of wedding wine cork as well as doing the father of the bride’s speech for him and generally announcing proceedings. The weather was grey again but, on the plus side, not too hot for anyone which was great.
There were some lovely finishing touches to this day and one that stood out to me was having the same cake toppers that Lee’s parents had had many years previously and Ashlie’s sparkly converse which were epic!
This was a very family orientated day and the disco even played a children’s section including baby shark and Let it Go to keep the little ones entertained. It was lovely that the couple’s children could see them get married and be a part of their day too.
These two are a really relaxed, take-everything-in-their-stride kind of couple and they were a pleasure to work with throughout their day. We are so pleased that you love your photos and without further ado, here’s a small peep at their day.
