In the middle of August we photographed the awesome Leanne and Callum at their wedding at the lovely Hungarian Hall. This was only our second hot and sunny wedding this year and one that was a complete pleasure to be a part of.
I started with Leanne getting ready at home and her mum’s friend had made the most gorgeous little dolls for the bridal party (photo of one of the flowergirls ones). The house was very busy with lots of people in and out and there were a lot of lovely finishing touches from the bridesmaids and flowergirls each carrying a single flower with nametags on of loved ones no longer with us to Leanne giving poems to the mum’s and dad’s.
David started with Callum and the guests arriving at Hungarian Hall. Callum was in his ‘ones’ and they had a mini version including mini medals made up for their son which was really sweet. As the weather was so kind to us they were able to have the outdoor ceremony they had hoped for followed by drinks and canapés by the fabulous Jamie Lee Smith Catering (they are a great team to work alongside and the food is always scrummy). Before the meal we had speeches and Leanne’s mum had had a bespoke song made for them which was so touching, and a lot of tears were shed. Between the mains and pudding her mum had also organized singing waiters (the best singing waiters) and they went down a storm with everyone thoroughly getting involved and enjoying themselves (I’ve included one photo below for those eagle eyed among you that was taken at just the wrong time but, I kept it in as it makes me laugh)
Later in the evening I had a little wander with Leanne and Callum to do some couple photos before we went back to the marquee for dancing (fantastic DJing by Martin at Flame Entertainment).
Leanne looked so beautiful in her dress, and I particularly loved the pockets which is still unusual to see. Callum was every bit as handsome in his ones. It’s clear for anyone who meets this couple and their family to see why they are adored; they really are a couple of sweethearts, and we hope that they’ll stay in touch with their future news.
Here’s just a very little peep at their day.
