Back to August Weddings and this time it was Simon and Kay’s day. This was a small and intimate wedding and a joy to be a part of. I went to where they were staying for the weekend which was Mill House down at the beautiful Letheringham Mill Cottages. They have stunning surroundings here but, sadly we were indoors in a door way for most of this part as it was torrential wind and rain for the most of it.
We then went on to the quirky Woodbridge Shire Hall for their ceremony and thankfully there was a little area they could all shelter for some group photos afterwards and for confetti. This ceremony had us all laughing when the registrar accidentally called the bride her mother’s name during the vows but, it was a magical moment as any nerves of the couple melted away and there was a lot of chuckling. As this was a small day we then left after the confetti when they all went on for their meal at Aldeburgh
I loved Kay’s dress which was vintage and she looked stunning in it whilst Simon was equally dapper in his suit. The flowers were also beautiful and smelt fantastic. One of Kay’s daughters also had her dog at the cottages and it was great that he could be in the photos too.
Here’s a little look at their day
