Towards the end of October we had a gem of a wedding and that was Kayleigh and Nick’s day which took place at the fabulous Easton Grange. The first time I met Kayleigh and Nick I was instantly drawn to them and knew that I would love to be a part of their day, my feelings may (ok probably definitely) have been slightly influenced by their beautiful goldie Layla who is just the loveliest of dogs and I knew that they wanted her to play a major part in their day from ring bearer to group shots and dancing!
There was so much to love about this day with beautiful finishing touches such as the pumpkins that Kayleigh’s mum had very expertly crocheted to the stunning cake by Debbie (at Dust with Cocoa) where there was a little Layla taking a nibble … super cute (see the photos to have a look at this lovely idea). The flowers were so beautiful and created by the very lovely Jasmine at The Fleur Girl … we hope to see her at lots more weddings in the future
My couple shots were slightly different to what was originally planned with Kayleigh and Nick as I knew they really wanted to incorporate the gorgeous bridge at Easton but sadly, storm Babet put a stop to that as it was all flooded out …. On the plus side though the expanse of water that you don’t usually see at Easton looked beautiful in the photos and both Kayleigh and Nick had come prepared with their wellies to my delight! Also, a dragonfly landed on Kayleigh during my photos of her, they must know that she’s magical and loves animals!
Another highlight was Layla joining in the first dance and the party (by the brilliant Scott @ DJ Scott Dewing who always creates an awesome atmosphere)
Kayleigh looked absolutely radiant (her hair was done by Cara and her make up by Laura Amy) and beamingly smiled throughout the day and Nick was every bit as dashing … the centre of their world (Layla) was also an absolute delight (if I could have snuck her home to join our 3 I would have!). Their wedding wasn’t a huge day but, everyone that was there clearly adored them both and having spent some time with them it’s easy to see why.
That’s enough from me for now, here’s a peep at their day (more dogs at future weddings please!):
