This year I ended wedding season with this most beautiful, little, intimate wedding at The Garden Barn, Little Bradley with the wonderful Becky and Will. I knew as soon as I met these two at The Suffolk Wedding Show a while back that I’d love to capture their day for them and so, was delighted when they booked. I hadn’t been back at the Garden Barn for a few years but, as soon as I returned I remembered all the special things this venue has to offer and Emily who was in charge was brilliant.
There was a lot to love about this day and it’s the first time I’ve ever seen a completely vegan menu (and drinks) for everyone. The Hogless Roast that I got to have for dinner was exceptional and I hope I get to have their food again! Becky’s mum made all the cakes and biscuits (again all Vegan) and I feel so lucky that I got to sample these too, they were incredible and some of the most scrumptious cake I’ve ever had … yum!
Weather wise it was mizzley wet all day but, it didn’t stop anyone from going outside and enjoying it.
Becky and Will braved wandering the gardens and I am so grateful for this. Yes, her dress did get a little soggy and dirty but, I think it was definitely worth it for the photos! Becky’s late grandfather was remembered with a pendant on her bouquet and a space and photo left on a chair at the ceremony and meal.
The ceremony had lots of happy tears and the barn was set up in a direction I hadn’t seen before which was special. I also adored the couples Vans Trainers they wore and will be looking into these for next years wedding shoes for me! After the first dance Becky had a father-daughter dance and then a mother-daughter dance and lastly Will had a mother-son dance … really sweet!
There was so much to love about this day, I just wish I could have it all over again. Here’s a little look for you:
