Over the winter time I’m always a little quieter on here whilst we take a break, recharge and prepare for a busy year ahead. We also catch up on all those jobs around the house and garden that need doing but, often get overlooked.
There is always plenty going on in the background of any business and I am currently working on the website and new photos for it as well as designing a completely new site that will be better for mobiles than this one is … it always takes much longer than I think it will though so, it may not be until later in the year that this project is completed.
We make sure we catch up with all of our future couples for the year ahead (and the following year) to arrange meetings and phone calls as well as finding out how their plans are progressing (and then we get even more excited about their upcoming days!).
In January I caught up with one of my couples from 15 months ago who now have a baby daughter I photographed (she is adorable and I’ll pop another post on here from that session) and I photographed my first ever Citizenship Ceremony for the Suffolk Registration team (more in another post).
This year looks like it’ll be another awesome one for us and we’re back photographing at many of our favourite venues which is fabulous. I’ll also be looking at what blog posts I can write over the year that will help those of you planning your weddings.
I should go for now as I have three crazy dogs to walk (they are all ours) before it gets dark but, I will write on here more frequently again (I’ll aim for once every 1-2 weeks) and I will try with social media (Instagram and Facebook) even though they are by far my least favourite part of my job (social media is just not for me) x
