Our next wedding towards the end of April was Grace and David’s day. This was a gorgeous day to be a part of with a very relaxed, happy and smiley couple despite the unseasonably cold day we had.
I joined Grace getting ready at her parents home where she was having her make up expertly done by Emma Garrod (Emma always makes brides look like the most beautiful version of themselves!). I then was whisked down to Elmswell church with one of our favourite videographers, David (things could get a little confusing here with all the David’s!) Grace who is always brilliant to work alongside. My David started with David (the groom) at the Farmhouse at Haughley for their getting ready before heading off to the church too.
Grace and David had a beautiful church service followed by colin the caterpillar cakes, sweet treats and drinks at the church. It was then back to the incredible Haughley Park Barn for their wedding reception followed by Afternoon Tea served by the awesome Jamie Lee Smith Catering.
In the evening we went up to the Bluebell woods for some photos which was spectacular and it was great that they’d come on a little earlier than they would usually be in flower.
Then it was back to the barn for extra evening guests, cake cutting (the parents all made the cakes and cake stands), a choreographed first dance and a ceilidh band!
A lot of fun was had by everyone and it was a truly wonderful day which was an honour to capture. We wish Grace and David a lifetime of happiness and hope that they’ll stay in touch and that our paths may cross again in the future!
Here’s a little peep at their day
