We love capturing small and intimate days and our next February wedding was the stunning Rubylyn and Elliots day. We were only with them a couple of hours for their ceremony at Bury Registry Office followed by a wander into Abbey Gardens and then back to The Linden Tree for their buffet lunch but, I think the photos still capture all the key parts of their day perfectly. We were lucky with the weather and although rain was predicted it stayed dry for us at the times it needed to and we even saw a glimpse of sunshine which this winter feels really rare.

I absolutely adored Rubylyn’s dress and she looked stunning in it. It was so different but the coloured, embroidered flowers on it were the perfect bit of colour when most of the trees and flowers are yet to emerge! Elliot looked every bit as handsome in his blue suit.

When I met with these two prior to their wedding for a final details meeting they had warned me that Elliot hates having his photo taken and doesn’t smile. We hear this for most of our couples so I wasn’t worried and I think from the photos you can see that he is thoroughly in the moment and enjoying their day 🙂
