Henham Park is this week’s venue we’ve chosen to highlight. For those of you who are familiar with Latitude Festival, this is where it is held. This venue has so much to offer both indoors and outside. The barns themselves have Oak Beams and Red Brick Walls and have been lovingly restored. Whilst retraining their character they also have a lot of modern facilities in them from wireless speakers to underfloor heating. Should you want an indoor ceremony the barns can accommodate this. Alternatively, Henham Barns also offers Parkland Weddings where you can get married outside in several locations. You can choose from:
HENHAM LAKE – Where they can install our stretch tent right next to the 11-acre lake. Here’s where they have the widespan timber bridge, which can be used for either your drinks reception or a lakeside ceremony.
THE WALLED GARDEN – We’ve not been in here but it sounds awesome with its crinkle-crankle (or serpentine) wall and perfectly mown lawn
THE BLUEBELL WOODS – During the month of May an area of Henham Woods become a carpet of purple bluebells how jaw-dropping would it be to get married with this as a backdrop?
PRISTINE PARKLAND – This is just beautiful and looks lovely in photographs. The Henham Estate has 800 acres of rolling parkland and some of their oak trees are the oldest in Europe with girths of 9m or more.
We loved working here and although we have only covered a Reception here so far I’ve no doubt that the ceremonies will be awesome. We met the lovely Sarah who works here and she couldn’t have been more helpful or kind to everyone ensuring the couples day ran smoothly.
We’re really lucky that Henham Park recommend us and we hope we’ll be back here very soon.
Here’s a wedding we photographed at Henham Park in case you fancy a peep.
If you only have a short while on here today then I’ve popped a few photos below to give you some ideas.
