On what can only possibly be described as one of the hottest and most humid days of the year we photographed the gorgeous Rebecca and Joe. It was a beautiful day for beautiful people, the sun shone all day and there was lots of smiles and laughter.
I started with Rebecca and her bridesmaids getting ready at her parents house and David started with Joe and the boys at the church. We are most thankful to their vicar who let me photograph at the front and David from the back so we had all angles covered! I love the church ones and they make me smile everytime I see the kiss photo with the choir lady who sat next to me’s hands clapping in front of my camera and the vicar ducking down right into shot as they kiss … still it’s real and what happened and that’s what makes a wedding!
After the ceremony Rebecca and Joe were overjoyed when as a surprise the dog sitter had been organised to bring Bentley (their adorable beagle) to the church … I don’t know who was happier to see who, it was a brilliant treat to have him in some of the photos!
Back at Barrandov Opera Barn where they had their reception the grounds are gorgeous so we tried to use as much of them as we can in the photos. They have a wild meadow area as well as a more formal orchard and rose garden. Sadly due to the incredible weather the roses were mainly over but we still found a few to use in their pics. Rebecca designed their wedding cake which was beautiful, the barn looked magical and their sweet table went down a treat!
Rebecca looked absolutely incredible in her lace dress and her bouquet was stunning (Tiger Lily Flowers did a fantastic job) whilst Joe looked dashing and very handsome … all in all a lovely couple.
We also worked with Steve Hood (videographer) at this wedding and what he’s produced for the couple so far looks amazing so we’ll certainly recommend him in the future and we’re looking forward to working with him again at another wedding very soon.
We adore the photos from this wedding and are hoping to make up a sample album from them soon (when wedding season quietens down a little and I get a spare moment). We are delighted that the two of you love your photos as much as we do and here’s a little of a lovely e-mail that Rebecca sent to me after seeing them:
First of all – wow! Thank you so so much for the amazing photos, we love them and have been blown away by them. They’re even better than we imagined they would be! We started looking at them yesterday evening but we hadn’t realised just how many images there are so we had to finish looking at them tonight. There are so many amazing ones that we don’t know how we’ll choose the ones for our album!
Love the filters you use too – there’s a particular one which has quite a vintage feel to it but it also makes the colours vivid.
Thank you so so much to you both for your hard work on the day in the heat. You really have captured some amazing pictures and we can’t wait to choose our favourites!
