To finish our September weddings off for the year we photographed the gorgeous Zoë and Stephen’s at Thorpeness Country Club on a very wet and windy day. Thankfully, we had breaks in the showers though and I love the skies the stormy weather created.
Zoë and Stephen wanted a relaxed day with minimal coverage whilst also capturing all the essential bits so, we started with guests arriving and the ceremony and went through to their wedding breakfast and when they sat down to eat which was perfect for their day.
There were so many wonderful finishing touches to this day. Zoë’s bouquet was gorgeous with a singular red poppy in remembrance of a lost loved one which was so special (I’ve not seen this done before and I loved it). On their tables they had grown little herb pots for their guests which were gorgeous and smelt incredible.
Zoë looked stunning in her dress and the bright red petticoat was inspired and fun, whilst this mixed with her green shoes made this so unique to her. She completely nailed the original and classy look. Stephen looked very dashing in his checked suit and his bestman and him giggled the nerves away.
We loved being a part of this day and we can’t wait to see which images Zoë and Stephen choose for their selection. If you’re planning a seaside wedding then Thorpeness Country Club is definitely a venue to have a look at. Here’s a very little diddy peep at their day.
