At the beginning of June we had the absolute pleasure of photographing the gorgeous Danielle and Shane at their wedding at the stunning Haughley Park Barn. It was great to be back at this wonderful venue. This was an absolute corker of a day and we loved every minute of it.
I started with Danielle getting ready over in the farmhouse whilst David began with Shane and everyone arriving. For this day they also had an excellent videographer, James (at James Kilcoin Films) who we worked alongside.
The ceremony was in the barn followed by drinks and canapes (scrummy as always and it was great to work alongside the team at Jamie Lee Smith Catering who are always a pleasure to see) out on the lawn. We were incredibly lucky that although, there was rain, there was plenty of time where there wasn’t so everyone could enjoy being out in the beautiful grounds.
Danielle looked so sublime in her fitted dress and Shane was every bit as handsome in his suit. Danielle and Shane were the most lovely couple to work for, always happy and smiling and it’s clear to see how very much in love they are, as well as how adored they are by their friends and family. We are certain that this gorgeous pair will have many happy years ahead of them.
After their meal we were joined by a jaw-droppingly good magician called Matthew (Matthew Le Mottee, Master of Mystery), we could have watched him for hours and would highly recommend him and his sorcery!
The rain completely lifted for the evening and we went out into the Parkland after their first dance and a few dances after (provided by Gareth and the team at Flame Entertainment who always bring the party! They also provided some lovely large wooden light up Love letters) for some gorgeous sunset photos, then sparklers and Fireworks to end their evening.
There were so many suppliers for this day it’s hard to give everyone a mention but, here’s a quick list of some of the others not mentioned above and we hope that you’ll see from our photos that everyone did a fab job:
Sally’s Floral Studio (lovely flowers), Regency Cakes (I can vouch that the cake tasted as yummy as it looked), Pitcher Perfect Events (who did the Photobooth and Sweet Stall in the evening), Doll Creative (Did the girls hair) and Edit Clinic (did the girls make up)
Here’s a small peep at their day
