This may be the first new wedding we post for a while as the summer holidays are always a crazily busy time of year for us but we will write more once we have a bit more time (probably September). So, here’s a gorgeous summer wedding to share with you. At the beginning of July we had a gloriously hot and sunny day to celebrate Vicky & Tim’s Wedding. Their ceremony took place at The Athenaeum in Bury St Edmunds followed by their reception at St Peter’s Hall & Brewery. This was such a relaxed, chilled out day to be a part of and it had so many wonderful finishing touches. We loved seeing an outdoor first dance followed by their second ‘first dance’ on the bouncy castle! Vicky and her mum had made all of the gorgeous paper flowers, the bridesmaids were in a lovely, vibrant royal blue and the cake was made by Tim’s sister and brother-in-law.
When you plan for a summer wedding and time spent outdoors I don’t think anyone really expects it to be quite so hot and sunny. Thankfully there were areas at the reception where we could do all the group shots under the shade of some trees.
These two are such a happy couple who just beamingly smiled and gazed into each others eyes all day, they were a treat to photograph and we even got some really stunning evening light for a few photos in the crops in the field!
Vicky looked radiant in her dress which was finished off by her mum’s veil and tiara (such a personal finishing touch!) and Tim looked dashing in his suit.
We are certain that these two have got a long and happy future ahead of them.
Here’s a few photos from their day
