Our last May wedding (that I’ve been given permission to blog about) is Laura and David’s day. They both got ready at All Saints Hotel, Fornham St Genevieve where their wedding reception was to take place. They had an early ceremony at West Stow Church and a horse and carriage to take them between the two places.
The weather was sunny and warm which was a nice change in amongst all the rain this spring. Laura looked beautiful in her dress with oodles of layers and David had the most unusual colour suit on (as he wanted something different to what he has to wear to work each day) and looked handsome. At the church the vicar kindly allowed me at the front and my David at the back which was lovely so we could get both angles for them. There were so many beautiful finishing touches to this day from feather hearts to another stunning cake by the fabulous Hannah (at Bakerlicious Boutique) which made a stunning centre piece in the wedding breakfast room and had 5 layers!
In the evening the venue took us out in the golf buggy which was a treat and meant we could get to some great spots on the golf course for photos.
Laura and David are a sweet, happy, loving couple who we enjoyed photographing. Thank you for trusting us both to capture your day for you and we can’t wait to see you again at your sisters wedding in Cambridge next May.
Here’s a small peep at their day
