At the beginning of June I photographed Kathy and Ali’s intimate and tiny wedding at Shepherd’s Cottage in Wantisden. These two are a wonderful couple who’ve been together a really long time and it was an honour to be a part of their very special day. So much love and laughter it was a joy to capture it all. They also let me take a slice of cake home which was a real treat to have with my cup of tea.
We were lucky with the weather and got to be outside a lot for the reception time. The foxgloves and Irises were in flower and then later in the evening I joined Kathy and Ali again for some photos at Dunwich Heath and Westleton Green which are two places very special to them.
Kathy looked beautiful in her simple yet elegant dress and the blue sash set it off wonderfully and then Ali looked equally beautiful in her blue suit with red tie!
These two quite clearly adore each other and the vows that they wrote each other were so touching and unique to them. Patricia Sharman did the afternoon teas which looked scrummy and Natalie at Windmill Florists did their gorgeous flowers! We also had Arbutus String Trio providing us with some lovely music.
We are certain that these two are a match made in heaven and that they will have a very happy marriage ahead of them. We really hope our paths will continue to cross in the future.
Here’s a small peep at their day
