At the beginning of October we photographed the wonderful Jess and Jack’s wedding. Jess got ready at the Farmhouse at Haughley Park Barn whilst David started with Jack at the guests arriving at Saint Edmunds, King and Martyr Catholic Church in Bury St Edmunds. They then had their reception back at Haughley Park Barn which was looking stunning in all it’s autumnal colours.
If you are planning an autumn wedding then this is a really good day to look at as it embraced everything autumn from Pumpkins and Gourds on the tables to autumn leaves, conkers etc and beautiful tones of Reds, Golds, Yellows and Oranges. I loved the attention to detail for this day and have put lots of detail photos in for those of you looking for inspiration.
Jess and Jack are a really sweet, shy couple who were not looking forward to being the centre of attention but, they both looked so happy. Jess’ dress looked radiantly beautiful on her and fitted perfectly whilst Jack looked dashing in his suit. The flowers were stunning and I loved seeing the Dahlia’s in Jess’ bouquet as they are some of my favourite flowers for adding colour, texture and structure all in one go but we don’t see them very often.
One little special moment that I’ll remember for a very long time was that Jack had written and recorded his own song for their first dance and it was AMAZING – I reckon if this song was ever released it would be one we’d hear as a first dance over and over …. just perfect!
I could talk about this day for a really long time as there was so much to love but instead, here’s a small selection of photos from their day
