Still in August and our next wedding was Hannah and Jack’s day. I started with Hannah getting ready at her mum’s house whilst David started with the boys arriving at The Kings Head Pub and The Shire Hall in Woodbridge. The weather forecast wasn’t great for this day but somehow we seemed to dodge all the showers until later in the evening just before the dancing when the heaven’s opened.
Hannah arrived in a gorgeous vintage car which Jack was to drive them back to the wedding reception at The Turks Head in Hasketon in but sadly the ignition broke and they couldn’t get it start …. after contacting the man who owned the car (thankfully he was local) they then had a push start and they managed to get it all the way back to the reception, phew! I love the photos later in the evening of Jack and his groomsmen giving the guy who owned the car a push start so he could get the car home again. So many things to love about this day and Hannah and Jack were so relaxed about everything including the rain. A couple of lovely finishing touches were the bunting which was knitted for them by Nan and the DJ in the evening who played records!
Hannah looked absolutely beautiful in her dress and I loved her flower crown. Jack was every bit as dashing in his suit.
These two are a really sweet couple who’ve already been together a long while so we’re confident that they’ll have a long and happy marriage ahead of them. It’s also clear to see that they are absolutely adored by all their friends and family.
Here’s a very small peep at their day
