At the very end of April we photographed Eleanor and Dom at their beautiful wedding at Chippenham Park. This was a lovely day to photograph and I started with Eleanor getting ready at her parents in Cambridge whilst David waited for Dom’s arrival at the church in Cambridge. Their main theme was blossom and so I was extra delighted when there was still some on the trees both at Eleanor’s parents house and at Chippenham Park. The flowers were done by Wild Poppies and they were beautiful and in keeping with the spring/blossom theme. Chippenham Park is always a beautiful venue to photograph at and Beccy and all the staff here were fab.
The weather was still a little nippy for an end of April wedding and I was a little worried that this may hinder the uptake of ice cream from ‘Lottie’ (the name of the icecream van) at Sweet Ally Scoops in the evening but I needn’t have been concerned as by the evening the sun came out and the queue was very long! With this wedding every table had a person on it in charge of carving the meat (together with a carving hat and apron) which was a really nice, unique touch with lots of smiles and giggles as people carved.
The cake in the evening also had two really sweet little rubber ducks as the cake toppers which is certainly something I haven’t seen before but really liked!
Eleanor had a stunning, fitted lace dress and looked radiant whilst Dom scrubbed up very well and looked handsome in his suit.
These two have already achieved so much together since they’ve been a couple that we can’t envisage anything but a long and happy marriage ahead of them. We’re delighted that you love the photos as much as we do and we really hope that our paths may cross again in the future.
Here’s a quick peep at their day which Eleanor and Dom have kindly agreed I can share with you for those of you wanting to have a look
