At the beginning of April on a blustery, chilly but lovely blue sky and sunny day we had the pleasure of photographing the gorgeous Sophie and Stephen at their wedding at the beautiful Copdock Hall. Copdock Hall is a lovely venue to photograph at and thanks to Rosie who was in charge their for making everything run so smoothly.

We knew the very first time we met this couple at a Suffolk Wedding Show that we would be a really good fit for their day and that we would love to capture it for them and so, we were delighted when they felt the same and chose us to capture it for them.

With Covid, this was another day that happened a little later than originally planned but it was still perfect in every single way. We loved everything about this day and are always grateful when we are welcomed by a couple’s friends and family like we’re a part of their family. There were so many beautiful, little finishing touches that will stay with us a long time such as Stephen’s Pocket Watch (his dad got him) or his cufflinks (from Sophie with their first dance song lyrics on them) to Sophie’s bracelets (one from her parents and one from Stephen’s parents). Then there were all those special little moments that get you everytime you photograph a wedding. One little tiny moment that will stay with me is Stephen’s dad (who was his bestman) holding his hand and supporting him as the bridal party came in and emotions were a little overwhelming.

The beautiful Sunflowers in the bouquets were little pops of colour that are always welcome when it’s early spring and not a lot is yet in flower.

This couple are one of the sweetest couples you could hope to meet and it’s clear that they are adored and cherished by all their friends and family. They just fit together perfectly. They were also incredible to work with and during their couple photos went along with everything I asked (which was definitely worth it for the photos) which I will always be grateful for.

Sophie looked stunning in her beautiful dress and Stephen every bit as handsome in his suit.

We wish this couple a lifetime of happiness ahead of them and we really hope that our paths will cross again with them in the future.
