In the middle of March on a gloriously sunny, spring day I joined Lisa and Tony for their wedding day at the stunning Bressingham Hall and High Barn. It was wonderful to be back at this gorgeous venue and thank you to Sandra and Sam for making the day go so smoothly!
As this was a little wedding only I photographed this one to minimise the intrusion to guests. I had a brilliant day and it was so lovely to finally see this couple tie the knot (especially after all the restrictions and times this couple has had to move their day, as Lisa and her family came over from America and Tony from Ireland this couple has fought a lot of adversity during the pandemic to see each other and get to their wedding day).
There were so many lovely, special details and the flowers from the Southwold Flower Company at Southwold were stunning as usual (they weren’t quite what the couple had planned due to a little hiccup but, anyone who knows me would know how much I love bright rainbow colours so I thought these were awesome).
Lisa had her dress made by a very talented lady in the Ukraine (who we hope is ok with all that’s going on there). I’ve never seen a dress like this in colour or style before, it was so unusual and had an ethereal feel to it. Lisa looked stunning in it and she also wore some gorgeous, lace boots (when we didn’t change into walking boots to go for a wander around the grounds). Tony looked every bit as dashing in his suit which looks cream overall but had a subtle green, dogtooth pattern to it.
Obviously, Lisa’s cats couldn’t travel to be a part of their day (boooooo …. I love pets at weddings) but Mr. Cheek’s got his own big photo as pride of place at their wedding breakfast. The couple chose to have sharing platters as their wedding breakfast which looked scrummy and their cake in the evening smelt delicious!
So many beautiful moments on this day, thank you all for making me feel so very welcome. I hope that the photographs will go a little way in allowing you all to relive many happy memories for years to come!
Here’s a little peep at their day …..
