My next favourite’s post is Astrig and Nick’s day which is my smallest ever wedding with just the two of them. Their ceremony was at the stunning Swan Hotel in Southwold and after their ceremony we had a wander down to the beach and a little trip in their campervan to the harbour.
This was an unusually hot September day so there were more people than we thought there would be but these two embraced everything I asked of them and I will always remember being a part of such an intimate and special day (it was a real honour to be chosen to capture this for them).
Astrig and Nick chose me the following photos as their favourites because:
‘We love these ones in as they take us instantly back to that gloriously hot and sunny day and the spots around Southwold that we particularly like. You captured the mood, colour and heat of our happy day. They are really relaxed, which was just what we wanted.’
I found this so hard to chose just a few favourites as I have such fond memories of this very special day.
I chose the first one below which was taken before the ceremony as they were ready nice and early and we had a little bit of spare time. I didn’t even know this garden existed!
I then love this one in the ceremony as you can see how happy they are
Then I adore this one where Nick took off his hat to block the sun from Astrig’s eyes and to provide a little shade
Lastly, I chose these two confetti ones as who says you can’t bring confetti and throw it on yourselves … it really makes me smile!
