A quick personal post today just to say our youngest (Ernie) turns 2 today! Happy 2nd Birthday Ernie ….. wish we were close enough to the seaside to take you there to celebrate today but sadly we’re not and the restrictions won’t allow it so you’re just going to have to wait a little longer.
We still call you ‘pup’ but you’re well and truly a grown-up, handsome boy now!
Ernie is our second rescue dog and for those of you who don’t read this regularly here’s a little bit of background on his story. Ernie was found in 2019 in a sack with his decomposing dead mum and two sisters (both who were alive and are also happily rehomed) when he was just a few weeks old. We’re so grateful that they were found (both our boys came from Noah’s Ark Pastures New Adoptions for anyone who may be thinking of adding to their brood) and that he came to us and joined Ansel in June 2019. He’s changed so much in his first two years but one thing that hasn’t is his need to love everyone he meets … he’s a soppy boy. He also is still mischievous and puts everything in his mouth whether it’s edible or not!
Here’s just a very small selection of photos taken in the last year of him (please excuse the quality that a lot of these are phone photos rather than the proper cameras!)
