One of the absolute perks of my job is when my wedding couples (and their families and friends) turn into friends for us and we get to capture special moments in their lives.

Recently I got to join Gemma and Jay again for a very special family photo shoot for Jay’s Mum Kazzie’s milestone birthday. It was so lovely to meet all the new additions to their family and to catch up with everyone again over the Jubilee weekend.

Kazzie makes the most fabulous teddy bears and back at Gemma and Jay’s wedding (a good few years ago now) she made every wedding guest a teddy bear as their wedding favour and even made me one that has stayed on my desk and I look at every single day. Well to celebrate her birthday and the Queen’s Jubilee Kazzie decided she’d make everyone a bear and then we chose ribbons from a bag and all got a corresponding bear to take home. I was so touched that she’d included me in this and I now have my very own ‘Hayley Bear’ which I got to take home (for those of you interested my bear is the one with the Royal Blue Ribbon). She will be treasured forever and now be a family heirloom to pass down for many generations to come! On top of this I also got to take home some cake to enjoy later in the afternoon which was just scrummy!
