On one of the hottest July days ever (so hot in fact that umbrellas were being used to cover people from the scorching heat which we’ve never seen before) we joined Sophie and Max for their wedding at Copdock Hall.
I started by joining Sophie getting ready in the bridal room at Copdock whilst David started with Max and the boys arriving. It was nice to see some familiar and very welcome faces during the getting ready with the very talented Karen (at Karen’s Beautiful Brides) doing the hair and Emma (at Pretty Faces) doing the make up. As always, these ladies are a pleasure to be around and do a fantastic job as you’ll be able to see from the photos. Sophie had a very floaty wedding dress and a flower headpiece both of which looked stunning on her and fitted in perfectly with their relaxed day. We had a handful of bridesmaids as well as the most adorable little flowergirl. Max and the groomsmen looked very dapper in their suits although they did melt a little in the 32+ heat!
The ceremony itself was lovely and a few tears were shed by Max as Sophie came down the aisle (I always think this is really sweet and it’s actually something we see very often so although our grooms are often embarrassed I think it just shows their emotions beautifully). The reception was mainly spent in the shade apart from when I had a little wander with Sophie and Max to the Vineyard where all the grapes were coming along for some couple photos.
Sophie and Max didn’t want their speeches and dancing photographed and so we finished early for this one but I’m certain the rest of their day would have also been brilliant. Sophie and Max are a gorgeous couple who we reckon will have a very happy married life ahead of them
Here’s a small peep at their day
