Our next wedding was a very special one and that was Ros and Chris’ day which took place at the beautiful Haughley Park Barn. Admittedly we do love all our couples and their days but we have a very soft spot for Ros and Chris as we’d met them a good few times before at various other weddings including her twin sister Kath’s Wedding to James at Blackthorpe Barn and Sara and Kristian’s wedding day at Chippenham Park. It was also nice to see lots of familiar faces again and to catch up with everyone, following through families and groups of friends as they all get married and have children (or expand their families with pets) is very special for us and one of the loveliest perks to our job!
I started this day with Ros and her bridesmaids (both her sister Kath and Chris’ sister also a Kathryn) at her parents house in Bury whilst David joined the boys getting the barn ready for their day. Ros’ dad made the cake which was so stunning, unique to them and just a marvellous touch. The colour scheme was vibrant yellow sunflowers (a favourite of mine for their vibrancy to a day) complemented by gorgeous purples! Sloe Gins were handmade favours for the guests. I think we saw the most confetti ever at this day and the swirly wind really helped to get an incredible tunnel of confetti!
Ros and Chris are a delightful couple who complement each other so well. It’s clear to see that they adored by all their friends and family and it is easy to see why – they’re just perfect together!
Ros looked so very pretty and beautiful in her elegant dress and Chris every bit as dashing!
We love the photos from this day and we really hope that our paths will continue crossing with this couple and their friends and family for many more years to come!
Here’s a small selection from their day. If you like the look of Haughley (or just our photos and are still looking for a photographer) then why not pop along to Haughley’s Open Day on the 8th October where you can see the venue and meet us – I’ll post more details of this next week).
