Our last July wedding was Kim and James’ twilight wedding which took place at Crabbs Barn. This is the first time we’ve photographed such a late ceremony time (6pm) and it certainly gives a different feel to a day when your couple photos are automatically at sunset as everything happens a lot later.
We were lucky that we had another glorious day weather wise and so they could have the outdoor ceremony that they really wanted. The bridal party was family and included their 4 children which was really nice as well as their brothers and sisters. Kim looked absolutely stunning in her fitted dress and James just as dashing in his suit.
For this wedding we also had the speeches outside which was an unusual twist and I for one wish more people would consider this as it really helps to keep it relaxed and a bit less formal. When it came to their couple photos we were very lucky that the crop in a nearby field hadn’t been harvested (as it’s all been a little early this year) and so sunset photos out there were a must and a treat to be a part of.
Here’s just a very small peep at their day
