Favourites post for Louise & Alex’s Haughley Park Barn Wedding by Suffolk Wedding Photographers Hayley Denston Photography

One more favourites post from last year to share with you today and that’s Louise and Alex’s fabulous wedding that took place at Haughley Park Barn last October. This was such a relaxed and happy day to be a part of with lots of lovely autumnal colour and an ever so smiley couple! We loved being a part of this day and if you’d like to have a read and see more photos from it just click here.

We love it when our couples take the time to do one of these posts and both Louise and Alex’s comments are really sweet and we’re very touched by them. So, here goes starting with the two photos that Louise chose because:

‘This is one of my favourite pictures as it was one of the first photos that Alex and I had by ourselves at the wedding venue and shows off the wonderful autumn colours we had.  I think the big smiles on our faces demonstrate how happy we are in that moment and how comfortable we felt with our photographer.’
‘This is another one of my favourite pictures as it sums Alex and I up in one photo.  Our dog is the love of our life and we were thrilled to have him as a part of our wedding day.  What I also love about this picture is that on face value the dog is looking perfectly towards the camera and looking very photogenic however what the person looking at the photo doesn’t know is that there is someone stood behind the photographer shaking a bag of dog treats.’
Alex chose the following two photos because:
‘This is one of my favourite photos of the day as it really encompasses the meaning of the day and focuses the attention purely on the two of us.  The photographers have managed to make it appear as though there isn’t anyone else in the room but us and captured the special significance and intimacy of the day.’
‘This is my second favourite photo as it was a very natural shot – it felt very easy to forget that their was a photographer there and were able to relax and look at each other the way that we normally would do.  It was also at a nice moment in the day as it was during the welcome drinks (which is an intense moment with all the guests trying to talk to you and photograph you) and we were able to escape for a short time to regroup together and get a breather.’

We chose the following three photos, I love how relaxed and happy they look together just cuddling under an old oak tree, I then love them looking at everyone else during the cake cutting and lastly, when their dog joined us (we love a dog at a wedding!)
