Our next wedding was Amy and Sam’s day whose whole day took place at the stunning Haughley Park Barn. Again not quite the glorious sunny day we had hoped for but we embraced the weather and did a windy and wet confetti run followed by their formals underneath one of the many large trees to keep them dry (thank you to Janice at Haughley Park Barn for helping with this). The weather broke in the late afternoon and evening which was great but I often think that unless you tell people it was a wet day you wouldn’t necessarily have known this from the photos which is great.
So many lovely finishing touches to this day with Suffolk Marquees providing the chair covers and hanging lighting decorations (all looked beautiful), the very talented Helen Newman did the flowers (beautiful and creative as always) and Hannah (at Bakelicious boutique) made the incredibly tasty wedding cake. For the catering Tina did this over at Crossways Farm Catering (delicious as always) and Bay Tree Pizza had their Pizza’s in the evening with some early evening entertainment by Adam Thomas who was fab. A great selection of suppliers to work alongside.
We’d been waiting for this day for ages since we photographed Sam’s brothers wedding a few years ago (they now have two gorgeous little boys one of whom was a pageboy whilst the other just a few weeks old) and it was gorgeous, we love following families through in this way.
Amy looked so radiantly beautiful in her dress and Sam looked dashing in his suit. These two are so smiley I could have photographed them for days. They are also both so relaxed and chilled out just letting us do our job and capture their day as it happens which I always think makes for the best photos. We hope our paths may continue to cross in the future.
Here’s a small peep at their day
