• WELCOME

Well hello there and welcome to Hayley Denston Photography. We are Suffolk Wedding Photographers who live in a little village on the Suffolk/Norfolk Border. We travel as far and wide as we can to photograph weddings although we mainly photograph weddings in Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex. Our fingers are crossed that you've either found us through a personal recommendation or whilst looking for a wedding photographer in Suffolk, Norfolk or Essex. If not, perhaps you were simply having a browse for a Suffolk portrait photographer (as we do that too) or even just Suffolk wedding photography.

However you've arrived at our website we're pleased you're here and hope that you've got a few minutes (together with a cuppa and a biscuit) to have a look through our photos. We hope that you love what you see and that we'll get to meet and photograph you in the future.

If you didn’t get the chance to come along to the Suffolk Wedding Show why not pop along to the other Open Day we’re doing this Autumn which is Haughley Park Barn’s Open Day this Sunday (8th October 2017). We’ll both be there with all the books and albums to show you and we’d love to have a chat with you about your day to see if we can help you in your search for the perfect wedding photographers for your day (fingers crossed it’s us!).

The details of the Open Day are as follows:

Sunday 8th October 2017

Haughley Park Barn 2.30pm-5.30pm

Free Admission

It’s always lovely to see lots of couples who’ve chosen Haughley Park Barn as their wedding venue (or those who are considering it). There’s a good number of suppliers but not too many of us that you’ll feel overwhelemed whilst still being able to talk to some of Haughley’s most recommended and favourite suppliers! We’ll try our best to answer any questions you have about your day and about wedding photography and hopefully we’ll be available on your date to photograph your day for you. We always love seeing familiar faces too so if you’ve already booked us for your day please do pop by and say hi and have a chat as we’d love to see you.

If you sadly can’t make this Open Day please don’t worry though as there’s plenty in the wedding section on here for you to look at and we can arrange meetings at other times to get together.

We look forward to seeing you there and hope to be photographing many of your weddings soon.

Many congratulations this weekend to the lovely Kate and Ben on their first Wedding Anniversary. We hope that you have a brilliant day and get the chance to look through all your photos and that they help you to remember all the magical moments of your wedding. We photographed this lovely couple last October at Haughley Park Barn and despite the mizzle I just adored your attitudes towards the weather and as a result your stunning photographs!

You two are a gorgeous couple and we wish for you many happy wedding anniversaries in the future.

Here’s a link to their blog story (and photos) in case any of you would like to have a quick look at their day

Our next wedding was a very special one and that was Ros and Chris’ day which took place at the beautiful Haughley Park Barn. Admittedly we do love all our couples and their days but we have a very soft spot for Ros and Chris as we’d met them a good few times before at various other weddings including her twin sister Kath’s Wedding to James at Blackthorpe Barn and Sara and Kristian’s wedding day at Chippenham Park. It was also nice to see lots of familiar faces again and to catch up with everyone, following through families and groups of friends as they all get married and have children (or expand their families with pets) is very special for us and one of the loveliest perks to our job!

I started this day with Ros and her bridesmaids (both her sister Kath and Chris’ sister also a Kathryn) at her parents house in Bury whilst David joined the boys getting the barn ready for their day. Ros’ dad made the cake which was so stunning, unique to them and just a marvellous touch. The colour scheme was vibrant yellow sunflowers (a favourite of mine for their vibrancy to a day) complemented by gorgeous purples! Sloe Gins were handmade favours for the guests. I think we saw the most confetti ever at this day and the swirly wind really helped to get an incredible tunnel of confetti!

Ros and Chris are a delightful couple who complement each other so well. It’s clear to see that they adored by all their friends and family and it is easy to see why – they’re just perfect together!

Ros looked so very pretty and beautiful in her elegant dress and Chris every bit as dashing!

We love the photos from this day and we really hope that our paths will continue crossing with this couple and their friends and family for many more years to come!

Here’s a small selection from their day. If you like the look of Haughley (or just our photos and are still looking for a photographer) then why not pop along to Haughley’s Open Day on the 8th October where you can see the venue and meet us – I’ll post more details of this next week).

We had a lovely time exhibiting at the fabulous Suffolk Wedding show yesterday and as we worked so hard we’re going to be having a little rest today but we just wanted to put out a quick post today to thank all of you who came to see us, who are considering using us and to the many of you that booked us to be a part of your day.

So here it is, a very big thank you to everyone who took the time out to come and see us for a chat, we loved meeting so many people and are delighted that we’ve taken bookings already. We hope to hear back from many more of you soon once you have your dates sorted. It was also great to see so many familiar faces of those of you who’ve already booked us so thanks for popping over to say hi too!

Next up in our super-duper busy line up for August was Emily and Christian’s wedding at Haughley Park Barn. This was another one of those days that we had been looking forward to for a very long time and after hearing all about their plans for their day when we met for a pre-wedding shoot last year at Nowton Park I was even more excited. What a gorgeous couple and what a wonderful day. Haughley Park is always a beautiful venue at all times of year and it certainly didn’t disappoint with plenty for us to photograph in the gardens and in the parkland.

Emily got ready at her parents house in a nearby village whilst David started with Christian and the boys at the Farmhouse at Haughley. Before and during their ceremony we had heavy rain and the first half an hour of their reception was rainy so we stayed indoors but again, the weather cleared and the rest of the day was brilliant.

We got to work again with Steve Hood who is a fabulous videographer that we recommend and we’re very much looking forward to seeing his film of the day. The catering was provided by Jamie Lee Catering and we were kindly provided a meal by Emily and Christian as their speeches were between courses and it allowed us to keep time with them. We can report that the food tasted as good as it looked!

The evening light for this day was just gorgeous and we loved being able to take them for a wander in this beautiful light. There were so many lovely finishing touches to this day from the glowing paper lanterns in the barn to the macaroon tower. It was all stunning and add to that one radiantly beautiful bride and a handsome groom who adore each other and what more could you want from a wedding day!

We are confident that these two will have a long and happy marriage ahead of them and we really hope that our paths will cross again in the future.

Here’s a small peek at their day (if you love the look of this venue for your own day why not pop along to Haughley Park Barn’s Open day on the 8th October – we’ll be there and I’ll post further details nearer to the time)

if you can’t see all their lovely photos just click here and it should take you to them
