Our next gorgeous June day was Rebecca and Will’s wedding which took place at the stunning Haughley Park Barn. We loved this couple from the moment they came to talk to us at one of Haughley Park Barn’s Open day’s. Their happy natures and excitedness about their day meant we knew we wanted to be a part of it immediately and were therefore incredibly delighted when they chose us to be their photographers.
Everything about this day sounded fantastic and it didn’t disappoint in any way. I was overly excited that Reggie (their gorgeous labradoodle) would be joining us and he featured in a lot of their photos. Rebecca and Will also fitted Reggie with a video camera for the day; ‘Reggie-cam’ which I can’t wait to see some of the footage from!
Rebecca and Will had put in so much time and effort into all the finishing touches that nothing was overlooked. Rebecca and her bridesmaids did all of the flowers which had a gorgeous mix of colours and country, rustic charm to them. Will’s mum did hanging baskets for the barns which looked brilliant, they had lots of garden games (including badminton and tennis) and a Mimosa bar and delicious food by Jamie Lee Smith Caterers, Will’s dad made a post box for them (fabulous!) blankets for the evening, a homemade photobooth and candy bar and neon face paints for the party!
The bridesmaids wore the same dress but in different pastel shades and Reggie wore a pink bow tie!
Rebecca could throw a plastic bag over her head and she’d look stunning, she didn’t however she wore a beautiful dress and looked sensational in it. Will looked very handsome in his suit and the two of them are two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet.
In the ceremony they’d written their own vows and they were the most gorgeous words you could ever wish to hear. I had to try to stop myself from crying (as there was barely a dry eye in the place!) and even the Registrars shed a tear!
During the speeches we also had a tea ceremony for Rebecca’s dad and her heritage which was special. The cake was a masterpiece and even Reggie made it onto it.
For their first dance Rebecca and Will had secretly been taking dance lessons as a surprise for their guests and it was lovely to see them Waltz their way round the floor.
Rebecca and Will are a beautiful couple, very much in love with a gorgeous dog and brilliant family and friends to be on their married life journey with them. We wish them nothing but happiness for their future together and are really hoping that our paths will cross again at some point. Here’s just a very small selection from their day
