Today we start off the blogging of our autumn weddings! I love autumn weddings with the slightly cooler weather and all the beautiful changes in colour. I couldn’t have thought of a better way to start them this year than with Charlotte and Harry’s wedding. This was one of those days that’s so special as the reception was held in Tipi’s at Harry’s family home after their local church service. It was also wonderful to see Chantal and Will again whose wedding we photographed last year and who recommended us. Harry was Will’s bestman and so for this wedding the roles were reversed and Will was the bestman for Harry.
We haven’t seen a horse and carriage in a while so it was nice to see it again for this day. The sun shone all day and it was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves in the sunshine. Harry’s sister had painted the seating plan for them and Harry’s mum had made lots of finishing touches out of pottery. The family dog also came out and joined in the evening celebrations although Harry did have to carry her off the dance floor as it was pretty loud once the band started!
Charlotte looked absolutely stunning in her fitted dress and the bridesmaids had the most beautiful, jeweled pink dresses that were very unusual. Harry looked dashing and every bit a true country gentleman. The two of them both looked so happy we’re certain they’ll have many happy years of marriage ahead of them.
Here’s just a very small peep at their day
