• Welcome

Well hello there and welcome to Hayley Denston Photography. We are Suffolk Wedding Photographers who live in a little village on the Suffolk/Norfolk Border. We travel as far and wide as we can to photograph weddings although we mainly photograph weddings in Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex. Our fingers are crossed that you've either found us through a personal recommendation or whilst looking for a wedding photographer in Suffolk, Norfolk or Essex. If not, perhaps you were simply having a browse for a Suffolk portrait photographer (as we do that too) or even just Suffolk wedding photography.

However you've arrived at our website we're pleased you're here and hope that you've got a few minutes (together with a cuppa and a biscuit) to have a look through our photos. We hope that you love what you see and that we'll get to meet and photograph you in the future.

To begin our sweltering August weddings we started with the fabulous Dani and Gary and their day. Their ceremony took place at Coton Church followed by their reception at Rectory Farm (this is also where Dani got ready). I began with the girls getting ready whilst David started with Gary and the guests arriving at the church. For this day we had lots of bridesmaids and three adorable flowergirls (who were Gary’s daughters and Dani’s sister) and they were some of the loveliest children I think I’ve ever met! If all weddings that had children had ones as well behaved, polite and such a joy to be around it would be a wonderful thing. They are certainly a credit to all of those who are helping to raise them.

Dani and Gary are such a happy, smiley couple that I always knew from the moment I’d met them that this would be a day that we would love and it certainly was. So many special little details too including the initials that Dani’s nan had sewn expertly in chain stitch into all the girls dresses to gorgeous flowers, finishing touches on the tables, pimms cart, ice cream bicycle etc I really could talk about this day for a long time as it was as close to perfect as you’d want any wedding day to be. It’s not often a wedding moves me to tears but this was certainly one of those days as you could feel the emotion and happiness.

Dani looked absolutely radiant in her dress and Gary very handsome as her husband. We wish Dani and Gary a lifetime of happiness ahead of them and are certain that they’ll have many years of happy married life to look forward to

Right, that’s enough of me talking as I know you all only really want to see the photos so here’s a peep for you.

If there photos aren’t showing just click here and they should magically appear!

Our last July wedding was Kim and James’ twilight wedding which took place at Crabbs Barn. This is the first time we’ve photographed such a late ceremony time (6pm) and it certainly gives a different feel to a day when your couple photos are automatically at sunset as everything happens a lot later.

We were lucky that we had another glorious day weather wise and so they could have the outdoor ceremony that they really wanted. The bridal party was family and included their 4 children which was really nice as well as their brothers and sisters. Kim looked absolutely stunning in her fitted dress and James just as dashing in his suit.

For this wedding we also had the speeches outside which was an unusual twist and I for one wish more people would consider this as it really helps to keep it relaxed and a bit less formal. When it came to their couple photos we were very lucky that the crop in a nearby field hadn’t been harvested (as it’s all been a little early this year) and so sunset photos out there were a must and a treat to be a part of.

Here’s just a very small peep at their day

Next up for us was Caroline and Jason’s Wedding which was just one of the most happiest and beautiful days which happened in late July. I started at home with Caroline getting ready and was joined by the fabulous Karen (at Karen’s Beautiful Brides) who was doing some stunning hair and the lovely Emma (at Pretty Faces) who was doing some equally beautiful make up. The flowers were absolutely incredible and very vibrant and were produced by the very talented Judy (at Tiger Lilly Flowers), if you’d have said to me beforehand we’re combining corals and bright yellows I wouldn’t have thought it would work but it certainly did!

David started with Jason and his groomsmen getting ready at The Premier Inn in Bury before their ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Bury St Edmunds which is just an astoundingly beautiful church. We had a glorious summers day for this wedding and after the ceremony we went back to Chippenham Park for their reception. Caroline and Jason are VW Camper Van mad so it was nice that two of these took them and the bridesmaids to their reception. It was a slightly blustery day and at one point Caroline’s veil did fly out and we thought it would never be seen again but thankfully it was caught before it got stuck around the chimneys!

These two are the most delightful and happy couple and they took everything in their stride. Caroline’s dress was beautiful with a pattern on it and pockets (my kind of dress) and she looked radiantly beautiful in it whilst Jason looked very handsome in his suit.

We loved everything about this day and are certain that these two will have a very long and happy marriage ahead of them.

Here’s a small look at their day
