Going back a little while now to last month and Easter Weekend when we had the joy in photographing the lovely Natalie and Luke’s Wedding at Haughley Park Barn. We were blessed with a gorgeous, warm sunny day and due to the very mild winter all the bluebells treated us by coming into flower at just the right time.
Natalie got ready at The Farmhouse at Haughley Park Barn where I joined her whilst David started with the boys and the guests arriving. Their entire day happened at Haughley which always works well as no one gets lost between venues. Haughley Park Barn is one of our most favourite wedding venues to photograph at as there’s so much going on at all times of year you can always find something different and unique for each day. We were spoilt with Natalie and Luke’s day by having bluebells, cherry trees and azaleas all looking their best.
Natalie’s dress was just stunning and she looked incredible in it, a lace fitted number seemed just perfect for her. The bridesmaids wore Navy which tied in with the boys suits and our little flowergirl (Luke’s niece) wore white. For such a young flowergirl she did amazingly well and even walked in on her own to the ceremony, she looked so cute and was very well-behaved throughout the day. Luke looked every bit the dashing groom and very handsome. He finished off his look with a funky tweed waistcoat.
The flowers were understated and beautiful with lots of Gypsophila (dainty and pretty) and the table displays were stunning (well done to Karen at Karen Jane’s Florist)
Tina and her team at Crossways Catering produced wonderful food for everyone (although I would expect nothing less as Tina’s brilliant) and everyone enjoyed eating the canapes outside on the lawn during the drinks reception
There were so many lovely ideas and finishing touches at this wedding from mini chocolate eggs as guests favours to a bird cage seating plan and tables all named after rabbits (something we’ve not seen before)!
It was a pleasure photographing so many happy, smiley people at this wedding and if we could have their day all over again we certainly would. We love all their photos and later this year I’m sure many of them will be working their way into our main galleries. Natalie and Luke are a wonderful couple who we wish a lifetime of happiness for. We’re looking forward to designing your album with you over the next few weeks and hope that after that’s completed that you’ll continue to stay in touch with your future news.
Natalie and Luke’s images are online for those of you who attended the wedding and want to view them all, for everyone else here’s just a very small peek at their wedding day
