Our next August wedding to write up for you is Kelly and Tom’s day which took place at Ravenwood Hall in Suffolk. This is one of those venues where most of our couples would like an outdoor ceremony and thankfully we had really good weather so we could have this which pleased all of us. David started this one with Tom and the groomsmen getting ready at Ravenwood whilst I captured the guests arriving as Kelly wasn’t sure she wanted any additional people present during the getting ready stages. After the ceremony we all wandered back over to The Pavilion (Still at Ravenwood Hall) for some drinks and mingling and during the reception time the guests had little tubs of ice cream which were greatly appreciated on a warm day and a sweet finishing touch.
During the evening reception time both Kelly and Tom really wanted to do some field photos so we snuck off for a little while to a nearby Suffolk field to do some of these photos and I’m so pleased we did. In general I don’t like taking my couples completely away for very long but as Kelly and Tom had planned that two of this bestmen would sing and play the guitar (they were awesome) during the evening reception time I knew the guests would be happily entertained whislt we were gone.
Kelly looked beautiful in her fitted lace dress and her head piece was exquisite whilst Tom looked dashing in his blue suit and polka dot tie.
This was a very relaxed and chilled out day to be a part off and we enjoyed photographing you all. I have so many favourite photos from this wedding that it was really hard to choose what to pop on this post. One of my firm favourites for it’s quirkyness though is one where Tom get’s little love heart confetti stuck behind his glasses which I’ve included in the photos below, little unexpected moments like this always make me extra happy.
Kelly and Tom are a gorgeous couple and we wish them many years of happy married life ahead of them. Here’s just a small peek from their day:
