This is one of those days that we had been looking forward to for what felt like a really long time. Keighley and Stevie are a gorgeous couple and with Keighley working within the wedding industry they had lots of fabulous ideas and suppliers surrounding their day. As the reception was to be held in Keighley’s parents garden in a marquee we were really hoping the weather would hold out for us and be good especially as the plan was for guests to be piped (by the bagpiper) down the lane from the church to their house. Thankfully the weather didn’t disappoint and we had a lovely hot and sunny day!
Many things about this day were special, I loved the Birch trees in the marquee itself and the old fashioned wooden ski’s for guests to sign instead of a guestbook. I have never seen a wedding cake like this one before … how different and bang on trend … I expect to be seeing a lot more like this over the next few years (you’ll have to scroll through the photos I’m afraid to see what they chose for their cake … no spoilers here!). Both Keighley and Stevie are a relaxed and chilled out couple and this came across in the style of their day perfectly. It’s clear to see they are a lot of fun to be around (especially judging by the hen and stag do photos in the toilets!) and are completely adored by all who know them. We should also at this stage say a big thank you to them and their friends and family for being so welcoming to us which is always lovely.
Keighley couldn’t have looked more stunning if she’d tried and wore a beautiful fitted lace dress whilst Stevie scrubbed up very well too and looked dashing in his blue suit.
We’re delighted you love the photos as much as we do and I will share your comments in a future blog post when things get a little less wedding crazy here as we really appreciate the kind things you’ve said. In the meantime though here’s a selection of photos from their day for you all to have a peep at
