To round off our lovely July weddings at the end of the month we photographed the gorgeous Jess and Adam at their wedding day at Ufford Park. Jess got ready at Ufford Park and I joined her there whilst David started with Adam and the guests arriving at the church (St Mary Magdalene RC Church in Ipswich). The ceremony was lovely and we hadn’t done a full mass in a while which was great to photograph and their Father was very kind to us letting me be at the front and David at the back. The only thing we weren’t allowed was confetti and so we had bubbles instead!
Their reception was then back at Ufford Park and despite not seeing any rain in Ipswich (just down the road a few miles) Ufford had had a very heavy rain shower so the drinks reception had to be indoors and on the driving range balcony area. Jess and Adam still wanted to have a wander outside for their photos though (which I’m really grateful for as I love the ones of the two of them) and I must say I was really pleasantly surprised by the time and effort gone into the flower beds (something you don’t really expect at a Golf Course) which looked beautiful for their photos and very colourful.
What a lovely day this was and I enjoyed our little ride onto the golf course in a buggy later in the evening for some sunset photos. Their cake was gorgeous (I don’t know how I managed to stop myself from eating it the smell was just heavenly!) and sweet that it had finishing touches that represented the two of them and where they’re from. Another sweet finishing touch was Jess wearing the tiara her mum wore at her wedding to her dad, that’s something we don’t see very often!
Here’s a small selection to have a look at from their day and I’ll write up some of their kind comments in a separate post on a later date when I have a little more time for blogging (we are delighted you love your photos though and took the time out to tell us)
