Our next wedding was Hollie and Jamie’s day which took place at Harlton Church followed by their reception at The Manor Barn in Harlton. This was another day we’d been looking forward to for a very long time as Hollie is my godparents daughter and I’ve known her for her entire life. So fab to be a part of this very special day and to see her looking so beamingly happy with her gorgeous husband! They are such a sweet, happy and caring couple, it’s clear for everyone to see that they adore each other and we couldn’t be happier for them.
At this wedding we knew a lot of the guests which is always great and we were made to feel so welcome. I started with Hollie getting ready at her parents home and David started with Jamie and the boys at the local pub. The vicar kindly let me stand at the front and David at the back which was appreciated as it allowed us to capture their ceremony from two different view points! Linda (who’s Hollie’s mum and Linda’s friend Jackie) did all the stunning flowers. The barn looked beautiful and the handmade favours that Hollie and Jamie had produced (handmade soap and beer coolers) were quirky finishing touches. The tonnes of bunting lifted the barn to a whole other level. As the reception venue is only a short walk from the church it was a blessing that the sun shone on us so Hollie and Jamie could lead their guests between the two. It was also nice that with the sun out the guests could enjoy lots of outdoor games that had been organised (everything from table games, to swing ball and a coconut shy) and wander round the gardens that this venue has to offer. For the evening there was a band that were awesome and a lot of the guests got up and joined in on the dance floor which is just what you want.
Hollie looked radiantly beautiful in her dress and Jamie was very handsome in his blue suit. All in all, even if we didn’t know this family at all it would be evident to anyone who meets this couple that they are meant to be together. We adore all your photos and only wish we could have your day all over again.
