Our next wedding was a little different as it was David’s twin brother who was getting married. This was a small and intimate family day which took place at Bury St Edmunds Athenaeum. We were meant to be having a picnic in the Abbey Gardens following their ceremony (and their children’s naming ceremonies) but sadly the weather was one of the wettest days we’ve seen this year so it didn’t quite work out like that. Instead we all went for a meal afterwards in Bury which was very scrummy!
Helen looked beautiful and Christian scrubbed up ok (I’m allowed to say that when it’s family and he should know I’m only teasing!) whilst the children looked adorable. I especially love Ollie’s little converse trainers and Flora’s pretty dress. The flowers were all Origami and they were unusual and pretty and a different take on bouquets (as well as being great to keep afterwards)
I must confess that it is a little weird working a wedding of a family member as you see things slightly differently when you’re part of the family. Also seeing yourself in photos is another odd experience when editing!
Here’s a few photos from their day for you to have a peep at
