At the very beginning of April we photographed Hayley and Phil at their beautiful wedding at Easton Grange. I started with Hayley and her bridesmaids getting ready at The Crown in Framlingham and David started with Phil and the boys getting ready at Easton Grange.
Easton Grange is a beautiful wedding venue and it was great to work with Carrie who was in charge for the day and fab. Easton Grange is a unique wedding venue in that it has two big barns (one for the ceremony and one for the wedding breakfast) where even if the weather isn’t on your side everything is connected so there’s no need to go outside if you don’t want to. As it wasn’t the warmest of days this was lovely that guests could mingle indoors whilst looking out across the meadows and river. We still managed to pop out though for Hayley and Phil’s photos and for a few groups and confetti!
Hayley and Phil are a relaxed and sweet couple who were a pleasure to photograph and we’re delighted they chose us to share in their day. The finishing touches to the barns were gorgeous and I loved the PomPoms everywhere. The food was yummy and we got a starter platter which was unexpected and very tasty – David says ‘they are the best scotch eggs he’s ever had’ and from someone who likes Scotch eggs that’s high praise indeed! Their cake was made by Helen at Amelie’s Kitchen and as always Helen had done an incredible job, that was one very beautiful cake and I’m sure it tasted yummy too! They had a gentleman playing vintage records for the ceremony and reception who was quirky and fun (I never took his details but if Hayley and Phil can kindly give me them I’d thoroughly recommend him). In the evening Hayley’s choir sang and Hayley joined in with the singing and they even played on kazoos! My Big Fat Disco did the evening set up and the crates and lighting were beautiful.
Hayley looked stunning in her fitted lace dress and Phil was every bit her dashing prince in his navy suit.
Here’s a small selection of photos from their day for you to have a peep at
