At the end of March we had the absolute pleasure of photographing the gorgeous Claire and Adam at their wedding. They had a church wedding (where the vicar was pretty strict only allowing us to photograph from the back) followed by their wedding reception at Haughley Park Barn. Despite predicted rain we were very lucky to only have the odd spot and nothing that meant we couldn’t be outside which was brilliant. Due to the position of the church the wind really whistled round it and so the confetti shots were a little different to usual, I’m certain pretty much all of us ended up covered in it!
Back at Haughley Park Barn, Tina and her team at Crossways Catering provided delicious canapes and the most tasty meal (being a pudding person I’ve put in a photo of the trio of puddings but the mains was also scrummy). The majority of the reception was indoors as it was a little nippy outside but Claire and Adam were happy to brave the cold for their photos and we’re so pleased that they did as we love these photos.
Adam looked dashing in his tweed waistcoat and suit whilst Claire looked stunning in her beautiful dress. These two are the most sweet and kind couple you could ever wish to work for or meet. They really were a joy all day and completely handed over the photos to whatever we thought would work best (which is the way we love to work most as you can look at the surroundings and light on the day and make the most of what you have available)
This truly was a brilliant, happy day with wonderful welcoming friends and family and a lot of love in the air. We hope that the photos will go some small way to helping you to relive your wedding day and the memories from it for many many years to come and that our paths will continue to cross in the future. Here’s a very small selection of photos from their day
