Well as I was on a roll blogging about portrait sessions last week these have got a little out of date order so back to the end of August now for the wonderful Eleanor and Craig’s Wedding. This was always going to be a gorgeous day, their ceremony took place at Finningham Church which is directly opposite Eleanor’s Family home where she got ready and then we were back to one of our favourite wedding venues, the stunning Haughley Park Barn for their reception. I started with the girls at Eleanor’s parents house whilst David joined the boys at The Farmhouse at Haughley for the getting ready. Eleanor had hired the fabulous Rachel and Dionne at Defining Radiance to do hers and the bridesmaids make up and they did a stunning job (I would expect nothing less from these two as they’re brilliant). We then walked over to the ceremony where we had two vicars doing different parts of the service. After the ceremony we did a few groups, confetti and then I popped back to Eleanor’s parents house with them to do some with the dog and pony before going back to Haughley.
After a lovely afternoon reception with canapes by Tina at Crossways Farm Caterers (these are always yummy … I’ve not seen a tray ever come back with food on!) we were then in for their meal, some speeches and dancing. As the weather was fab we also did see evening photos down at the Parkland with their dog which was great.
Eleanor had made so many sweet treats for this day (she is quite clearly a very talented baker) and I can say that I did sample the macaroons which were exquisite! Lovely finishing touches like this make the day so special and unique to the couple. There was also a stunning cake that was made by Helen at Amelie’s Kitchen (This lady is a brilliant cake maker with very yummy cakes).
Eleanor and Craig are a relaxed, happy, loving couple and this showed on their day. We’re certain they’ll have a very long and happy marriage ahead of them.
Here’s a very small selection from their day for you to have a peep at
