Our first May wedding was Deborah and Jake’s day which was beautiful. Deborah got ready in The Farmhouse at Haughley Park Barn with her oodles of bridesmaids before heading to Norton Church for the ceremony and then back to Haughley Park Barn for the reception. As those of you who read our blog regularly know Haughley Park Barn is our favourite wedding venue to work at, it always feels like home to us when we’re here and I love the different things in flower and of interest in the gardens throughout the year. It also helps that the staff are fab and we get to see lots of our other favourite suppliers who also regularly work here. For this day we got to see Tina and her staff at Crossways Farm Caterers who produced some incredibly scrummy Thai Green Curries for the wedding breakfast.
In terms of the weather we did have a little rain but we managed to get out in between the showers and the evening light for going up to the Bluebell woods was just beautiful. The barn looked stunning for this day and the Paper Lanterns supplied by Suffolk Marquees added something special.
Deborah looked stunning in her dress and I loved the bigger skirt to it whilst Jake looked equally as dashing in his suit.
Another relaxed day to photograph which couldn’t have happened without such a lovely Bride and Groom. We wish Deborah and Jake a lifetime of Happiness ahead of them and we hope they’ll stay in touch with their future news.
Here’s a small peep at their day
