Our next wedding to share with you all was a gorgeous day. It was Becky and Guy’s Wedding which took place at Poslingford church followed by their reception at Foxearth Fisheries. This was a stunning day to be a part of for so many reasons. Both Becky and Guy are such a happy and warm couple that they instantly put you at ease and make everything relaxed and fun.
I started with Becky getting ready at their house whilst David joined the boys at Guy’s dads for their getting ready (I think Guy had the biggest buttonhole we’ve ever seen!). Becky had her make-up done by the fabulous Emma at Pretty Faces. As always Emma did a wonderful job of all the girls make up! We then met at the church to continue their day. I think the less said about the Vicar on this one the better, he had agreed with the couple that I could be at the front and David at the back but on the day said no one could be at the front, this is very frustrating for us when we would have loved to have got the photos of the front as well for them but hey-ho, there’s sadly not a lot we can do when you meet a Vicar like this. Still we did get photos from the back.
Then a few formal photos and confetti at the church before we went on to their reception at Foxearth Fisheries where they had put up a marquee overlooking one of the lakes. It had all been decorated just beautifully and the cake was incredible. Such a vibrant colour scheme too! One of Becky’s bridesmaids had made all the sugarcraft flowers for the cake and they were gob-smackingly beautiful (definitely worth the many hours spent making them). The bestmen were so friendly, efficient and helpful that everything ran like clockwork. We are always really grateful when we have bestmen like this who help us out with the organising of groups … it makes the day flow so much nicer so many thanks you two for being fab! After dinner I’d spotted a rowing boat and Becky and Guy were thankfully happy to indulge me and go for a little row on one of the lakes despite the rain …. I love these photos! Then in the evening they had a brilliant band called Cupids Wish (thank you Becky for letting me know their name as I’d completely forgotten) lead by the fabulous Georgia – we’ve seen this band before and they are always fabulous, we would thoroughly recommend them.
Becky and Guy are a gorgeous couple who we can see nothing but a fun-filled and loving marriage ahead of them. They clearly have a lot of love surrounding them with very friendly and kind family and friends. We really hope that our paths will cross again at some point in the future.
After seeing their images Becky kindly sent me the following e-mail which I’m sure she won’t mind me sharing:
I just wanted to say how happy we are with the photos. You really captured the spirit and happiness of the day with lots of natural shots which is exactly what we wanted! Every time I look at them I love them more! We cannot thank you enough!
We can’t wait for the proof book and USB!
Here’s a small peep at some of their photos
