Our first June wedding was Abi and Matt’s day which all took place at Woodhall Manor. When you come into June you really hope for sunshine and warmer weather but it wasn’t to be for this day. Fortunately, the rain stayed away though so at least we could be outside in the gorgeous grounds Woodhall Manor has to offer even if the sun didn’t shine on us it definitely didn’t dampen the day at all.
Abi and Matt are a happy, sweet couple who are quite clearly adored by their friends and family. One of the many things that’s lovely about Woodhall Manor is that David could start with the boys getting ready in one of the rooms whilst I started in another room with the girls. So many lovely little touches to this wedding, I especially liked the Kiwi on Abi’s garter to represent their honeymoon they’re planning for New Zealand and the tiny Jam’s as wedding favours. At Woodhall you can opt for an indoor or outdoor ceremony, Abi and Matt decided they wanted an indoor one so it wouldn’t matter what the weather was doing and it was a lovely ceremony. We then went outside in the gardens for drinks, canapes, confetti and games. In the evening we had a disco with confetti cannons going off half way through their first dance (which Matt’s mum had organised as a surprise) which was great. It was also fab to see so many people on the dancefloor enjoying themselves!
Abi’s dress is one of the biggest I’ve seen this year with a gorgeous full skirt to it. She looked beautiful in it and beamingly smiled all day. Matt looked equally dashing in his suit and they just make such a gorgeous couple.
Here’s a very small selection from their day to have a peep at
