In the middle of August we photographed Emily and Stu’s Wedding at Moreves Barn which was just a fabulous day to be a part of. We’re very lucky that we get to work for gorgeous couples who when you meet them you just know you’ll share a brilliant day. Emily and Stu’s day was wonderful and a joy to capture. So many beautiful finishing touches even tying in the evening snack with tea and coffee to your theme (made me very nostalgic but you’ll have to look at the photos to see what it was).
I started with Emily getting ready at her parents house whilst David started with Stu and his groomsmen at the Church. The only tiny frustration on this day was that we weren’t allowed to take any photos in Great Waldingfield Church which is always sad for us but still we got to take lots of wonderful photos throughout the rest of the day. After the church ceremony we went just down the road a mile or so to Moreves Barn where their reception was held. We were entertained by a singer called Daniel who was fab and played throughout the afternoon and evening. I love that their Nan had a little sing song with Daniel (under the just married bunting!) and a dance too with her bestfriend and neighbour, great entertainment that bought a smile to everyone’s face.
I also love the penguin books as your table plan, this quirky and bright detail (also followed through with penguin postcards for guests to write message on instead of a traditional guest book) looked stunning in the barn.
Emily and Stu both beamingly smiled all day and they both looked stunning. All your friends and family were so welcoming to us which is always great when photographing a day that we get to have little chats with you all too. It’s clear to see you’re both adored by everyone who knows you and we’re certain that you’ll have a long and happy marriage ahead of you.
Thank you for your lovely comments which I’ll write up in a separate post. Here’s a small selection of photos from their day:
